First things first, the reason to rename Note 7 is to bring greater order labeling as range will sit with the current series S, so this year’s models bear the designation Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Note 7.

We expects a combination of a metal frame, tempered glass in the back and may have a rounded display in the front. Some reports suggest that even Samsung Galaxy Note 7 could be water and dust resistant with IP68 certification.

The hardware parameters are very similar with minor improvements such as Snapdragon 821 processor, 6 gigabytes of RAM, 5.7″ screen with Super AMOLED technology and C-USB connector. The main attraction of Galaxy Note 7 is the presence of S-Pen stylus.

Expect the fingerprint reader, Samsung still wants to move forward and may offer the iris scanner. It will be a faster way to unlock the phone than fingerprints.

That’s all we know so far and we will keep updating this space as and when anything new arrives about the Samsung Galaxy Note 7
