All the fans of Game of Thrones would be so thrilled about the leaked episodes but this huge cyber-attack has made the cable server, HBO to pay a big amount.

Reportedly, a massive figure of 1.5TB has been stripped off from HBO by some hacking group. Many of you would have seen the unaired episodes of GoT, no wonder, there are more to come, because some other shows have also been stolen from the system of cable server.

As per reports, HBO is now urged to pay the penalty of $250,000 to prevent any more leaks of the shows.

It looks like the hackers are having full joy by creating chaos in the HBO’s office. According to a Hollywood reporter, the evil geniuses have posted a screenshot showing an email of a senior HBO vice president offering them $250,000 as a “bug bounty payment.” The email was sent on July 27

A negotiation can be seen between the hackers and the official of the company. HBO seems to play the game very well, as they worded their replies very cannily. Instead of paying them a ransom, the cable operator is asking them to discover further lacking and vulnerabilities in their system that allowed them to leak the most-anticipated episodes of Game of Thrones Season 7.

The email reads: “As a show of good faith on our side, we are willing to commit to making a bug bounty payment of $250,000 to you as soon as we can establish the necessary account and acquire Bitcoin.”

It is assumed that the hackers have charged millions in Bitcoin from the American premium cable network in a bid to stop other shows to get leaked.

Well, television network giant has not commented on the email yet. Till then, let’s see what will be the next breakout!
