We all love the emoji language and we never get tired of craving for more faces and other regular stuff. There is a good news, more fun emoji are coming your way by the year 2018.

The Unicode Technical Committee has included new 67 emoji as “draft candidates” to potentially add them in the Unicode 11 standard in the Quarter 2 of the year 2018, which may dictate what characters will be seen in the forthcoming Apple’s  “iOS 12” and the follow-up to macOS High Sierra.

A few examples include bagel, broom, cupcake, kangaroo, lotion bottles, salt shaker, and a frowning version of our all time favorite poo emoticon, according to the Emojipedia. New smileys could include a cold face, inebriated face, super man face, redheads, dying in heat face and among others.

The 67 characters also include some other exciting instruments, such as a test tube. Moreover, different hairstyles are also presented in the new emoji collection.

Furthermore, any increases or expansions regarding gender or skin tone will be settled later, since they don’t require approving new code points.

The UTC will decide a final list of draft candidates of emoji in a meeting in the coming month of October and expectedly, they would be ready to share relevant details and information with platform holders like Apple and Google in early 2018. It is clear that we will be using these emoji by the second quarter of the year 2018

Gear up folks, our conversations are gonna be more lit!
