Sony revealed two new additions to its premium XZ range smartphones – the XZ1 and XZ1 Compact. The Sony Xperia XZ1 is much distinct in its specs than the other one. Out of the competition of creating huge and big screened phones, the XZ1 has come out in moderately small size.

Features of Xperia XZ1 Compact

The flagship smartphone of Sony features a 4.6-inch display. Don’t judge it by its size as it holds the power of  Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset and other quality specs including Hi-Res Audio, IP65 water resistance, and premium build quality.

The camera setup of the phone consists of a front facing camera with a super wide-angle of a 120-degree field of view. Such vivid space and angle of the Xperia XZ1 Compact’s camera will allow you to take a perfect selfie. Another impressive peculiarity of the smartphone is Sony’s Motion Eye camera capabilities, that will be released shortly.

The Xperia XZ1 Compact will have a color scheme of Black, White Silver, Horizon Blue and Twilight Pink.

On the other side, the XZI smartphone holds a 5.2-inch Full HDR display. It is a bit larger in size than the XZ1 Compact smartphone but with similar features inside, like the same chipset, water protection level, and it even has the same size of the battery.

Both of the new phones of Sony carries the company’s Motion Eye camera allowing its users to capture super slo-mo, 960 fps video. Other interesting photography features comprise the Predictive Capture, which begins to record images before you press the shutter, and burst autofocus.

The XZ1 phone keeps the latest app of Sony, 3D Creator app. This app promptly and precisely scans any 3D object and creates an accurate digital model out of it which can be shared with friends, printed, or even used to play games. You will soon see how to use the 3D scanned avatar on the PlayStation.

The bigger in size  XZ1 will be available in Moonlit Blue, Venus Pink, Warm Silver, and classic Black colors.

Both Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact are now available for pre-orders at the Carphone Warehouse, and the smartphones will be shipped worldwide in September. More interestingly, both of the flagships will run on the latest version Android 8.0, Oreo out of the box.
