Google has revealed further updates on Andriod P at Developer conference, it is probably coming in August and according to Google, Andriod P is going to be smarter than its previous OS. The main purpose of Andriod P is to make smartphones less disturbing, less stressful and restricts over-consumption of App. Google gives all strings in your hands that how you strategize your Apps.
Restricts App time:
Andriod P will now let you limit your App time just by selecting time limit; you will be given with some options of time like 15 minutes or 30 minutes. You just have to set your time for how long you will going to use that App, after that time the App icon will turn grey followed by a pop-up notification which reminds that you have reached your app limit and not be able to use it any longer. In case, if you ignored that notification still you won’t be able to operate it anyways unless you change its setting.
New Smart intelligence features:
Andriod P first smart feature is an Adaptive battery which helps you to conserve battery power by reducing 30% of Apps that OS anticipate you will not use it for the rest of the day.
Adaptive brightness which adjusts your brightness level according to the environment or your own personal choice.
App actions predict which next app you are going to open based on time and situation. App slices is an API that allows the developers to divide certain App into various portions of OS, for example searching one portion can give you other App slices or the corresponding content.
New navigation Interface:
Andriod P will have a new navigation interface, which represented with a simple home button present on horizontal screen bar which is quite similar to iPhone X home bar. Google main purpose is to make UI simpler and can be operated by all other smartphones. By swiping up you will be able to see recently opened apps as well as five much-anticipated apps. Swipe up the second time and you will encounter all apps assigned at the respective place.
Lesser notifications “Do not disturb” mode:
Now you can restrict Notifications from getting disturb you through “Do not disturb” mode. By activating this mode you will not be able to see notifications on-screen, locked screen and also not in your notification drawer. This mode can also activate by flipping down the phone to the table.
Volume slide bar and Manual Screen rotation:
Google changed its volume bar which appeared horizontally in the previous OS, now present vertically at the right side of the screen. You can lower or higher the volume by sliding it upwards or downwards.
An interesting feature is that now you can manually control screen rotation according to your own preferences and choice.
Android P will be officially available by the August, so you have to wait until its release to try it. However, its beta version is available to install.
