Once again London is hosting the largest tech and innovation festival this June. The event is a chance to showcase the city’s status as a global powerhouse of tech and Europe’s tech capital. It is one of the most crowded events regarding technology and innovation.
From 11 to 17 June, more than 300 events will be held across the city, Along with major shows taking place at the ExCeL center, City Hall, and the News Building. It is organized by London & Partners KNect 365, and Tech London Advocates.
“This is about making sure that the UK remains very firmly in position as a global tech leader; attracting investment and business to London to continue the tech story.” said the director Zoe Osmond.

Most Importantly the event will showcase the most recent technologies, such as blockchain, augmented reality and5G. Panel discussions and keynote speeches are going to be focused, famous entrepreneurs like WPP founder Sir Martin Sorrell, Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales and Doteveryone founder Martha Lane Fox will get the spotlight as the Compelo report suggests.
The event will be including breakfast briefings, workshops, code fests, product launches, round tables and more. In 2017, the festival hosted 219 events and brought together 48,170 attendees. Eight out of ten visitors said they enjoyed Tech Week 2017 while 86% attendees will join tech festival this year.
