Vivo has launched its new model that comes with Two variants, Vivo V11, and Vivo V11i. V11 follows the V9 that comes earlier this year, contains some elements from Vivo’s X21 and from sibling company Oppo’s F9. Based on some previous leaks one of the upcoming variants arrived at India as Vivo V11 pro.
Just like F9, V11 has a slimmed down design for the display notch, Oppo named its version as Waterdrop Screen and Vivo named it the Halo Fullview Display. In V11 the shapes differ a little bit with a more acute angle present on the edges of the phone which stay close to the circle of selfie camera lens and it reviewed as the smallest notch so far.
The other feature which adding more to maximize Vivo screen to body ratio is its in-display fingerprint sensor which is the company’s highlight at this point. If we look closely, the in-display scanner is more convenient to use as you don’t have to go back to unlock and it operates in the same way as NEX and X21. It supports a 6.41-inch full-HD plus (1080×2340) Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. In-display fingerprint scanner works efficiently on OLED screen so it shows an upgrade for the V series.
If we talk about internals, the phone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and comes with Adreno 512 GPU and 6GB of RAM. In terms of optics, it contains a dual camera set up of a 12-megapixel sensor and 5-megapixel sensor while on Front it has a 25-megapixel sensor that comes with AI-based features. Vivo V11 has 128GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card in a hybrid dual-SIM format. The battery is 3,400mAh comes with 18W quick-charging support.
Though, it has a micro-USB port instead of USB type-C. Vivo continued the Chinese trend to experiment with colors and pattern finishes. Vivo V11 comes with two options “Starry Night” and “Nebula Fusion,” the starry night fades from dark to light blue with a glittery star effect. Also, the company planned to bring this model first in India and Thailand then later in the rest of the countries. Price and release date vary from region to region.
