Google wanted to unveil Google Pixel 3 XL at an event in New York next Tuesday 9th of October, but the device has already begun to sell in the market before its launch. According to Engadget, Hong Kong retailers are selling this device and everything appears to be a real thing.
Talking about its specs and features, it comes with a size of a 6.3-inch display, the screen resolution is listed as 2,960 x 1,440. But is still not clear what kind of OLED screen panel used in this device whereas the storage capacity of the Pixel phone is 128GB. The Pixel 3 XL is following the design tend of 2018 with a Notched Display which looks twice as tall as any other notched phone present in the market.
The device box also comes with accessories which include a USB-C-to-3.5mm dongle, a USB-C-to-USB-C cable, a USB-C-to-USB-A dongle, and an 18W USB-C power adapter.
Under the hood, Google Pixel 3 XL is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 845 chipset and only has 4GB of RAM. The device features the latest Google’s Andriod pie 9.0 coupled with gesture navigation, Pixel 3 XL inherited its predecessor’s active edge features which allow you to squeeze your phone to execute certain actions like toggling Google Assistant and muting sound alerts. It is basically the same feature which HTC edge sense has but with less customization.
As for the optics on the rear side, the Pixel 3 XL has a 12.2-megapixel resolution and for the front cameras 8-megapixel resolution. To enhance the camera quality and to take better group pictures Google introduce telephoto lens for the main camera. For the recording videos, the main camera can go up to 4K 30fps while the selfie camera is restricted to 1080p.
It has 3,732mAh battery power, The Hong Kong retailer is offering this full boxed device for just HK$15,880 or around US$2,030.
