Qualcomm Technologies Inc, a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated has introduced a Snapdragon 675 midrange smartphone SoC along with some high-end features. The prominent fact is its new Kryo 460 architecture which is built around ARM’s Cortex-A76 cores. They are made for the flagships devices and still not made its way into Qualcomm chips.

The Snapdragon 675 offers an outstanding gaming experience heterogeneous compute advantage comes into play, with Snapdragon 675 designed to deliver a high frame-rate and smooth gaming experience. The company is also working with game developers to give advanced level gaming to the 600 tier. It includes a list of games and game engines like Unity, Unreal, Messiah, and NeoX.
Qualcomm technology supports tools and APIs, including Vulkan, OpenGL 3.2, OpenCL, and Snapdragon profiler.
Moreover, Snapdragon 675 has two performance focused cores at 2.0GHz alongside six 1.78GHz cores designed to enhance power. The Snapdragon has a new image signal processor which has been built with triple-camera setups in mind, it also supports Quick Charge 4+ support and a faster AI engine. The triple camera set up allows the smartphone to capture videos and pictures in a high quality during day and night.
The camera supports features like telephoto, wide angle, super-wide image capture, as well as enhanced portrait mode (Bokeh), 3D face unlocks and ‘epic’ selfies. Snapdragon 675 gives slo-mo to record the video in full HD result and it is not limited to one second or shorter bursts.
