November is here and so the new Wear OS-compatible smartwatches are coming out as we are approaching towards the Holidays. Fossil has been one of the few companies which kept the Wear OS on a standard level but recently the company announced its first smartwatch with a Snapdragon 3100 chip and Google’s redesigned Wear OS. These are called Fossil Sport smartwatch and comes in two sizes 41mm and 43mm respectively.
It also comes in six different colors gray, pink, red, blue, green, and black, plus a wide range of Silicon straps almost 28 which are interchangeable and water-resistant. Because Fossil adds
The generic-sounding Fossil Sport Smartwatch is a feature packed and colorful wear which is releasing in just a few days, the company website says 12th of November. But if you are in New York then you will be able to buy it on 9-11th November. The casing of the Wear is nylon with an aluminum top housing around the display which makes it light and comfortable.
Fossil also focusing on integrated heart rate sensor, Fossil Sport Smartwatch’s ambient mode, along with NFC and GPS capabilities which were supposed to be improved by the previous edition, though, they have changed now. The watch also comes with pre-installed apps like Spotify and Noonlight, an emergency services app.
On the whole, there is not a lot of information present yet, but Fossil sport is not too expensive the price starts at $255 (about £200 or AU$350). The company also claims it as lightest Wear OS that comes a lot of extras.
