Google launched one of the new handy features with Pixel 3 phones known as Call Screen, the transcription support is soon rolling out to old pixel phones, according to some reports. The feature will allow the Google Assistant to suspect Spam Calls before getting it to users and decide if they want to answer the call or not. It saves the transcriptions of phone calls.
Previously, Many people had complained about the non-availibilty of this feature it is good to see that Google is listening to their Customer feedback and making changes accordingly. Call Screen transcripts are coming very soon.
“I’m happy to confirm that we will be launching support for saving the transcript later this year. The transcript for the screened portion of the call will be automatically saved in your Call Log once the call has ended. You will be able to access it via the Call Details section of an individual call log item. This will be available to our public beta testers first, and then all Pixel 3 users later in the year,” said Google.
Presently, Whenever Google assistant picks up a Spam call users can only watch transcription on the current time when the conversation is happening, Once the call is finished there is no way a user can revisit the conversation. A Call Screen product manager at Google support Forum confirmed last week that feature will enable later this year, the transcripts save the Call logs automatically once the feature is enabled in the call detail section.
Google phone app Public Beta tester can access the feature first, if not then it will come to Pixel 3 users at the end of the year. The call screen feature is coming out to Pixel 2 and 2 XL phones along with rest of the Pixel phones.
