Google call screen feature for Andriod’s call screening service, it was launched with the Pixel 3 pretty useful feature. One promised addition was the Google Call screen transcription feature and a couple of week after the launching of Pixel 3 the feature is all set to roll out.
Some Reddit users noticed this week that Google Call screen transcription feature soon roll out to pixel owners, yet it is unclear how widely the feature is rolling out. The feature will use Google Assistant to pick up the phone on your behalf to screen calls from unknown numbers, and the only possible way to see a conversation before was to saw it in real-time, the new transcriptions save a copy for later viewing.
To see the transcripts copy you have to go into the Recent Calls section of the Phone app, find that call which Google screening service answered on your behalf, and then select call details from the Menu bar. If you have the latest update, you would be able to pick the see transcript option. From then you will also able to read the transcript option, it allows the user to submit feedback and at the top of the screen gives the option to rate the call quality.
Transcript call has not yet rolled out to everyone, as the company confirmed it earlier that the feature likely to available by the end of the year, it might be possible it first rolled out on Pixel Smartphones. If you live outside of the US there might be chances you will receive the update later. For the time being, call screening is exclusively available on Google’s first-party handsets, However, Google’s @MadebyGoogle account has tweeted that the feature is anticipated to come to various countries and in different languages in the future.
