Lightweight gram laptop

LG has recently introduced new 17-inch and 14-inch laptops the latest addition to its new Lightweight Gram Laptop lineup. Despite the size, the 17-inch model only weighed about 3 pounds, it’s powered by an 8th Gen Core i7 processor (the 8565U) and has 512GB of storage and 16GB RAM. The 17-inch model was first spotted on FCC listing and then later on Best Buy.

Talking about its display, which runs on a native resolution of 2560 x 1600 than the 14-inch Gram. There is also a fingerprint sensor for convenient sign-ins, the company claims that the laptop can have 19.5 hours of battery life on a single charge. On the other hand, the 14-inch 2-in-1 Gram screen can double as a tablet when the keyboard is flipped behind the touchscreen display, and it only weighs 2.53 pounds.

The display is a 1080p IPS LCD, it also comes with Wacom pen for doodling. The 14-inch lightweight gram laptop is powered by an 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, and it runs Windows 10 Home. If we talk about storage then this LG model features 16GB of RAM with 512GB of storage. The company also claims that its 72Wh battery can last up to 21 hours on a single charge.

One thing to be mentioned here, LG is using the latest version of MobileMark benchmark tool. In the past, LG was using outdated software that gives inaccurate battery figures so the company decided to use a newer version of the software. Both 17-inch and 14-inch lightweight Gram laptops have a 72Wh battery, As a matter of fact, we know that 17-inch Gram cannot match smaller laptops.

The 13-inch model comes with USB-A 3.1 ports plus one USB-C port, the 14-inch model loses one of the USB-A ports, both share a headphone jack, microSD slot, a full-size HDMI output, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0. The price of the 17-inch model is $1,699.99 and it is not available yet on any other stores while the price and availability of 14-inch laptop have not announced yet.
