The famous equipment manufacturer Razer, recognized in the world of gaming will take advantage of CES to present the Raptor, it’s very first monitor. The company continues to join forces to cover all possible areas within the PC world, and although the competition has been tough, Razer has managed to break through to become a brand recognized by computer players.
During CES 2019, Razer announces its first specialized monitor for videogames, Raptor. It is a 27-inch monitor that marks the first step towards the monitors for videogames of the hardware company. But the prototype CES is not only the attractive design that it has.
The Raptor is a 27-inch IPS screen in WQHD resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels, particularly designed for the game. It displays a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a response time of 4 ms (gray to gray) as well as HDR400 certification. The brightness rate can reach 420 nits.
On Connectivity side, there is the presence of an HDMI 2.0a port, a DisplayPort 1.4, two USB A 3.1, a jack and a USB Type C Display-Port can charge a connected device. In addition, it will give you a green cable system to handle the inputs without having to ruin the design (HDMI, USB, Display Port, power cable and USB-TO).
As you can see, the foot of the screen displays RGB Leds, skilled of reproducing 16.8 million colors. The latter can be modified using the Razer Chroma software to match the rest of your equipment. The slab can be raised and tilted up to 90 degrees.

It is carried out that Raptor will arrive in the second half of this year in the United States, though for Europe and Latin America it is not mentioned when it will arrive. However, the only disappointment is that this raptor is only compatible with AMD FreeSync and not Nvidia’s G-Sync, better democratized.
