Samsung Unpacked event is almost here and it truly going to be massive. The event will take place on 20th February 2019, and we are expecting to see a Samsung Foldable Phone alongside Galaxy S10. A few days back, Samsung releases a teaser video showing the words ‘the Future unfolds’, By guessing through the outlines it is like a book-shaped device.
The video teaser is proof that the company has finally fulfilled its promise of a foldable phone. Back in November, the company revealed a prototype device and also they said that users will be able to buy the model soon. One thing to be mentioned here, Samsung foldable phone is the only phone in the category which will be available for anyone to buy.
Anyhow, the new video did not show how the phone is going to be fold but other companies like Xiaomi have provided a closer look at what we might expect. Xiaomi foldable Smartphone looks like a tablet which can fold into a device approx the size of the phone.
This kind of technology is more expensive than traditional phones because they have advanced and larger screens which are currently not so common in the market. Talking about the Galaxy S10, it consists of an extra-wide, dual-lenshole-punch camera in the top right corner of the display and a strip of lenses and flash modules on the rear.
The press renders also appear to confirm the existence of a triple rear camera set up which is considered a new norm for 2019 handsets. The Samsung Galaxy S10 plus also supports telephoto, wide angle, and standard lenses, with an LED flash all the way on the right. Notably, no rear fingerprint sensor is present on either of the models which suggests that it would rather come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
You have to wait a little bit for the official launch of foldable phone alongside Galaxy S10.
