Today, at the Apple event 2019 the company announces several new features and services like Apple Card, Apple Arcade, Apple TV Plus, Apple News+ subscription service, and Apple TV. As we know that iPhone never considered as the traditional gaming service but with this new Apple Arcade gaming subscription service, the whole scenario will going to be changed.
Unlike cloud gaming services announced by the Sony, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Google. Apple’s gaming subscription isn’t for the stream games to iOS devices. Instead, it’s a subscription game service for titles that can be installed from the App Store. Almost more than 1 billion users have downloaded games from the App Store, and there are more than 300,000 games available already.
Anyhow, Apple version is more like a subscription to games which are available on the App Store instead of traditional titles that you can play on the gaming sets like the PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch. Apple is also focusing to curate some of these games into its Apple Arcade subscription service. Furthermore, the gaming subscription service will bring 100 new and exclusive games available on Apple Arcade which will launch on the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.
Though these games will not available on any other platform or media subscription service other than the Apple Arcade, games would be downloaded and played straight from the app and subscribers could try these games and can also resume it. One of the interesting thing is that there are no ads shown during the game plus all of the features, content and future updates would be included in this package.
Apple revealed a number of game titles on its Apple Arcade website: Where Cards Fall, The Pathless, LEGO Brawls, Hot Lava, Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm, Beyond a Steel Sky, Mr. Turtle, Frogger in Toy Town, Lega Arthouse, Cardpocalypse, No Way Home, Down in Bermuda, The Bradwell Conspiracy, Projection: First Light, Lifelike, Sayonara Wild Hearts, Repair, Sneaky Sasquatch, UFA on Tape: First Contact, Sonic Racing, Doomsday Vault, ATONE: Heart of the Elder Tree, HitchHiker, Spidersaurs, Yaga, Monomals, Enter The Construct, Winding Worlds, and Kings of the Castle.
The company also announced at the Apple event 2019 that Arcade is launching this fall in more than 150 countries while they have not disclosed the Arcade gaming subscription fee yet.
