In all this excitement to make a unique design of Smartphones, we have witnessed quite a lot of strange designs of smartphones. But if you see Oppo latest attempt, it is safe to say this is going to be weirdest of all. Recently, some pictures of Oppo Reno leaked which is the upcoming model of the company. It has a wedge-shaped pop-up front-facing camera that gives the odd impression that the phone is raising an eyebrow at you.
First, it was the Vivo Nex camera who has the elevating selfie camera, then there was Oppo find X with its top side housing the front and back shooters. There are also some sliders like the Mi Mix 3 and the Honor Magic 2 which managed to keep the full-screen design on the front. Now the peeking shooter of Oppo Reno, the leaks also shows the design of its back panel. Here is a possibility that this model will run on Snapdragon 710 aiming to reach a lower price tag.
Along with the pictures, Slashleaks also reveals the video which is showing off the slider in action. It seems like by seeing leaks Oppo Reno is certainly on board. If we observe closely the popup peeked selfie camera has few benefits like it allows to include a speaker and front-facing flash without compromising that bezel-free look.
For the peeking mechanism, there is a large cutout on the front side whereas the bottom will have USB-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack and only two cameras at the back. Also, there is no physical button for Oppo new voice assistant called Breeno. One thing to mention here, with two cameras, it means cheaper Reno version with no fancy 10x hybrid zoom.
Apart from videos and pictures, there is not much information present on Oppo Reno. Its specs, price, release date all have yet to be revealed.
