The Huawei new P30 pro series is scheduled to release at the end of this month 26th March but as usual, the leaks have arrived earlier before the launch. WinFuture has revealed the full specs for both devices, along with official PR images, both P30 and P30 pro comes in new colors and with a new camera set up.
First, we discuss the new camera set up which is the most interesting addition on the P30 pro model, it promises you 10x zooming capabilities. Using a periscope system, P30 Pro has a focal length equivalent of 135mm for an optical zoom of 7.8x coupled with software enhancements and data from the main camera sensor to achieve the 10x figure.
New Huawei P30 pro offers you a 40-megapixel f/1.6 main lens, a 20-megapixel f/2.2 wide angle lens, and a small ToF (time-of-flight) sensor on the back beneath the flash for collecting depth data. Now coming to the display, the OLED screen measures at 6.47 inches along with a smaller teardrop notch and Samsung-style curved sides. The P30 pro will also come with an in-display fingerprint sensor for additional biometric security options.
Coming to the internals, the processor is Huawei’s latest Kirin 980 octa-core chipset, with 8GB of RAM, and 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options along with a 4,200mAh battery and IP68 water resistance.
The company is too updating standard P30 model, the phone is getting a slightly larger 6.1-inch OLED display and a triple camera system. It means Huawei is enhancing the specs as they will bring Kirin 980 processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 3,650mAh battery. P30 does not have some feature of the P30 pro model, it lacks 10x zoom, no fourth ToF camera, and no vibrating OLED display, but it will offer features like an in-display fingerprint sensor and IP68 water resistance.
