Samsung has launched Galaxy A40 in the Netherlands. The new Galaxy A-series model, which was initially a part of rumors and leaks. It is available for pre-orders on Dutch online store Belsimpel.nl. It is expected to be launched globally on April 10. The venue of this event will be Bangkok, Milan, and Sao Paulo. We are sure that it will be live streamed for the global audience.
The Galaxy A40 is somewhere between Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30. It features 5.9” Super AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution. A notch on top to which Samsung wants you to call “Infinity-U display”. The other features include dual rear camera setup, 25-megapixel selfie camera setup, and One UI based on Android Pie.
The dual camera is 16 MP + 5 MP, along with regular and ultra-wide sensors, more like the Galaxy A30. The front-facing selfie camera looks like the Galaxy A50 with its 25 MP sensor and f/2.0 aperture which support video chats.
Exynos 9610 octa-core chipset, triple rear cameras, and in-display fingerprint sensor are present in Galaxy A50. The Galaxy A30 has Exynos 7904 chipset, dual cameras, and capacitive fingerprint sensor at the back panel. Galaxy A40 features three rear cameras. Octa-core Samsung Exynos 7885 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM is present in this Galaxy A40 phone.
Black, Blue, Coral, and White you can get your device in these four colors. The Galaxy A40 comes with 64GB of onboard storage that can be expanded via microSD card. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
An array of sensors are present in the phone that includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, fingerprint sensor which is present at the back, gyroscope, and magnetometer. It comes with the powerful 4000 mAh battery and measures 144.3×69.1×7.9 mm. A USB-C port is also present along with the headphone jack.
