Samsung Galaxy View 2

Samsung released the Samsung Galaxy View 2 giant screen tablet PC, the tablet size is slightly reduced compared with the previous generation, but still reached 17.3 inches.

The successor to the largest tablet ever launched by Samsung was made official by a US operator. Samsung has not yet officially announced it but the US operator AT&T has confirmed it and revealed some information about the Galaxy View 2.

The tablet successor to the Galaxy View introduced in the ‘far off’ 2015. It has been mentioned since September 2019, the WiFi and Bluetooth certifications of the device with the model number SM-T927A.  It was introduced as the largest tablet ever launched due to its 18.4-inch display panel, the Galaxy View presented itself as a new maxi-tablet in the tablet market.

The Galaxy View 2 has a slightly smaller display than the original Galaxy View, with 17.3 inches instead of 18.4 inches, of FullHD resolution.

Instead, the support found on the original model, the Galaxy View 2 will be equipped with an updated suspended mount. Basically, it is integrated with a hinge to be used in two different configurations. The one with the cover folded like a normal tablet and the second option with a 30 degree angle cover you could use it as a portable TV.

It presents a Quad-Speaker with support for Dolby Atmos audio. It has 12000mAh battery and 64GB of internal memory expandable with up to an additional 400GB via microSD. The processor would be a Samsung Exynos 7885 supported by 3GB of RAM.

The bluetooth certification confirmed the 5.0 version while the Wi-Fi certification support for 802.11 b / g / n / ac dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz).

The original Galaxy View based on Android 5.1 Lollipop was equipped with an 18.4-inch LCD display with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 64-bit Exynos 7580 processor with a 1.6GHz octa-core CPU, 2GB of RAM , 32/64 GB of expandable internal storage, 5.700mAh battery and 2.1 megapixel front camera. A handle has been integrated into the tablet to allow users to carry it around like a briefcase.

The Galaxy View 2 is intended to be the device that will be available from AT & T in the United States only.
