Microsoft is bringing up the game of “Your Phone app” in Windows 10. As guaranteed, it will be getting the Android notification image. Users can notice notifications of all smartphones from the desktop.
A new Windows 10 20H1 preview released. This is the Insider Preview Build 18885 which brings a series of useful and important innovations, especially for those who own an Android smartphone.
The application “Your phone” extension of the Phone Screen support mirroring for the following Android smartphones: OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T, Samsung Galaxy S10e, Samsung Galaxy S10, Samsung Galaxy S10 +, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
In addition, all Android users will be able to view real-time notifications received on their smartphone on their PC. Also, in detail, this new function will allow:
- View all phone notifications in one place.
- Customize the notifications you want to receive.
- Delete notifications individually or all at once.
Microsoft blog post explained this news about the new Windows Insider version. Eventually, it will be rolled out to Windows Insiders by using the preview version of 19H1, which is also known as version 1903.
It will also reach all Windows users within a few weeks of the safe update in May 2019.
Vishnu Nath, director of program management for Mobiles Experiences at Microsoft, shared interesting information on Twitter. On that tweet, the window of “Your Phone” displays the notifications. He posted how the notifications of an Android device and display them on a PC, the new messages on Messenger, Twitter notifications and others.
“#WindowsInsiders using the #YourPhone app, we got even more for you! We have just begin a staged roll-out of syncing notifications from your phone to PC!” he wrote.
In the new Build Preview 18885, support for voice dictation was also added for users who have set up the system in 10 different languages. This function will allow users to compose texts and phrases with their own voice. Therefore, without using the keyboard except to activate the microphone by pressing the key combination Win + H.
Like all the updates released by Microsoft, this Windows 10 20H1 also brings a series of bug fixes and improvements to existing functions which are published on the official Windows Blog.
