“Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us” was originally created by a video gaming creator Smyleekun, which went viral on internet and was opted by more than 2 million people on Facebook, the internet joke event was meant to break into military facility named Area 51 to see the any possible aliens on September 20, 2019 which was later cancelled as creator fears Humanitarian Disaster and converted to music festival and was shifted to Downtown Las Vegas by original creator.
While the event was getting viral, the original creator, Matty Roberts contacted Connie West, owner of Little A’Le’Inn, a small restaurant in the area to plan an event for any attendees but eventually disconnected due to the lack of infrastructure, planning, and risk management, along with concerns raised for the safety of the expected 10,000+ attendees that they believe will come.
Also Roberts stated that he doesn’t want to make this event Fyre Fest 2.0 and so have shifted it to cleaner and safer place in Downtown, Las Vegas.
It is now clear that there will be two different event that are going to happen at two different places, first one will be “Area 51 Celebration” that has been announced by original creator of the event, Matty Roberts on 19 September 2019 and the second event “Storm Area 51 Basecamp” which is going to happen in Hiko, Nevada planned by George Harris.
